As we prepare to celebrate the 4th of July and the 250th Birthday of the United States right here in Johnson County, TN, we’re inviting our community to be part of something truly historic. This once-in-a-generation celebration will include a morning bike ride from Damascus to Mountain City, a Mud Run at the future VFW Hall site, a Main Street parade, and an evening celebration at Ralph Stout Park with a kids’ area, live music, and a fireworks display. Events like this only happen because neighbors step up to help. Whether you’d like to volunteer your time or enter a float, vehicle, organization, or walking group in the parade, we encourage you to get involved. Please take a moment to fill out the Volunteer Form or the Parade Entry Form. Let’s work together to make Johnson County’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday one to remember for generations to come.
